A few people have had trouble posting comments on my blog since I switched to the new beta blogger version. If you have a standard blog account you will not be able to post a comment on my blog by signing through your blogger display name. Instead, you need to sign the comments by clicking the option 'other' and filling in your name (and your blog address if you have one). If you don't have a blogger account you should be able to leave comments by clicking 'other' and signing your name. Don't forget to fill in the word verification code.
If you've had problems leaving a comment could you please try it now, leaving a comment on this post, and seeing whether it works.

ReplyDeleteOh no Lin, It seems to be happening to everyone! I dunno, they convince you to sign over the the bigger better beta version, and then you have heaps of problems with it. Newer rarely seems to be better.
ReplyDeleteMy comments never reach the blog. I have written hundreds of comments to this blog before and then got annoyed and gave up after being sent on a wild goose chase first, and then being told I am not registered etc, so then I register and then forget what I called myself so most the time I don't even try now. Although this comment page looks different to the one I usually get.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people think they need to register to comment, because they click on the login button instead of the 'other' or 'anonymous' buttons. I'm glad you finally figured it out though :) I'll have to repost this message every month or so! LOL
ReplyDeleteI can leave comments while logged in, but I can't leave comments on non-beta blogger blogs, because mine has been upgraded to beta. This is infuriating, and I wish they'd get it sorted!
